Best Valentine's Day Ever

So we got to spend our first Valentine's day with our babies yesterday. Emily and I both agreed it was much better than spending a couple hundered dollars on gifts and a romantic dinner. The day started when we arrived at the NICU and found Valentine cards from Addie and Aiden. The nurses even put their footprints on the cards! Here are the rest of the highlights:

• Addie is one ounce away from 5 pounds
  
• Aiden is catching up at 3 lbs 6 ounces, and his food intake has doubled
  
• We found out they are going to start Aiden on bottle feeding today!


• By far the most excitement came when Emily gave them their first bath. Her face lit up when I told her the nurses wanted her to bathe them. Addie absolutley loved having her hair washed under the sink. She made every happy baby sound possible :) Both tolerated the baths very well--we were so proud.
  
• Emily and I snuck away for a Valentine dinner in Castleton while the babies slept. Turns out the manager knew us and about the twins, so we got a free meal! Emily now wishes she had ordered dessert :) This twin business definitely has some perks!

Now for the good stuff.

Now that Aiden has gained some weight and is wearing clothes, I can't tell them apart. I kept questioning whether or not this was him above, but it is.
