2 weeks and 4 days old
This week is going by super fast. I'm feeling much better and I've been able to be with the babies the entire day now. They eat every 3 hours and one baby eats 1/2 hour before the other one. So I spend most of my day bottle feeding, burping, and cuddling with the babies. Addalyn is really starting to get active. She seems to spin around in her bed into a sideways backbend. Crazy! She is starting to scream when it is time to eat and I actually really enjoy hearing her cry b/c I can tell how much stronger she is getting. Aiden is showing his "smart" eyes more often and always looks as if he is in deep thought. Today I was told that Addayln took 100% of her bottles during the evening and was doing very well. To go home she has to take 100% of her bottles for 48 hours. After that she has to sit in her carseat without any trouble, for the amount of time it takes to get home. This is great news for Addayln! Of course when it was time for her next bottle I was ready and eager to watch her take the whole bottle for me. Well......it seems that my daughter likes to sleep in my arms and just smile. She didn't take the whole bottle for me ALL DAY!! Can you believe that!?! It is a good thing my hormones aren't too wild b/c I was able to keep in the tears. Every feeding she feel asleep! The nurse mentioned that she probably has her days and nights mixed up. This made me feel a little better but she might have just said that so I wouldn't get upset. I'm hoping and praying she will take a whole bottle for me tomorrow. Cross your fingers. The night nurse took glamor shot pictures of the babies for us, I hope you enjoy them.

Wow!!! They are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. The picture with the two of them together is amazing...they look just alike! God really blessed you with two wonderful treasures. I am in awe of the both of you and you will continue to be excellent parents!

We still think of you often, especially in the middle of the night wondering how in the world you will handle two wanting to eat at 3 in the morning! :) (better you guys than us) :) We are glad to hear that things are going so well and we can't wait for Addie and Aiden to meet thier buddy Dillon!
