The kids have been so much fun lately and entertaining. They really interact with each other whether it is playing, laughing, hitting, taking away toys, or most recently loving on each other. It was really cute and funny when they starting arguing in baby talk and taking toys away from one another but now...I have to get involved. ha ha We are now 10 months old and only have 2 months until the big 1 birthday!
They have been sleeping so well this past week and all I can think is that Addie is finally taking a break from teeth. She has 7 teeth now and looks SO cute with all those teeth. Aiden has 2 and it looks like a top one is coming soon. (which will of course make sleeping fun again )
We have great news from Aiden. For those who don't know-Aiden receives therapy 1x a week for gross motor skills. To help him with movement like crawling, pulling up, and walking. We are SO thankful to have such a fabulous therapist come work with him. He loves her and does so well for her. He is crawling and pulling up to a standing position! He has done a fabulous job! At his last check-up they gave him a test and he did awesome on everything! He even knew to move a crayon on paper! Words can't say how proud Brian and I are of all Aiden's accomplishments. We also got good news that he doesn't have to wear his helmet anymore. We would like to keep it on longer in order for his head to continue to round out. For those who don't know- The back of Aiden's head was flat from being in a laying position long periods of the day. Very common for preemies. Doctors acted like it wasn't a big deal but the therapist from St. V's recommended a helmet to help it to round out. This was a HUGE decision we had to make and we are SO glad we got the helmet. He has had it for 3 months and his head looks amazing.
We are looking forward to seeing Santa and doing some family Christmas shopping. Ha ha should be interesting! I'm not sure what we are getting the babies besides new car seats but maybe some new books and some puzzles. Enjoy the pics!
We have really enjoyed the holidays this year and are so thankful for 2 healthy happy babies. Last year around this time I wasn't looking forward to any of the holidays and really only focused on Aiden. I don't even remember putting up the Christmas tree or really anything that had to do with Christmas. It just seems opposite to this year! Brian and I will always remember that day in December we heard our little miracle was going to be ok. December is special for many reasons and Aiden is one of my reasons.
Oh Emily the kids are sooo cute! I can tell you are loving every minute with them two. You all look so happy makes me smile. Come see us whenever you get a chance. Mom and dad and my sister and her family all live in Putnam county. They love it. Good luck on the home search. Happy 2010!
