Books!

Books! Books! Books!
They are really enjoying books that have different textures. I knew it was important to begin with but at first they weren't as interested in books and instead wanted to chew on them. (another reason why teeth are not on my good list) Now, they can't wait for the page to turn in order to beat their sibling to the touch spot. They are probably equal in how well they are listening to books. I have a lot of the books memorized now and have even caught myself changing the plot. ha ha
Books must be helping them because they have been talking up a storm. Aiden says "mommmm," "daaa," "duck." Addie has been saying mamaw, da da, duck, and dog. They have started repeating duck from their baths. We have like 5 in the tub and I always play games to make them laugh saying "duck duck goose." They love it and all of a sudden started saying duck along with me. :) My mom taught Addie the word dog and I didn't believe her when she told me she could say it but she did. :) Even though they say a few words their conversations with eachother and with Brian and I are priceless.
Halloween-Right now we are leaning towards Addie being a ladybug and we aren't quite sure what to dress Aiden as. It is between a spider and a frog. This week I'm going to go and try and find his costume. We will probably have them dress up one afternoon and visit grandparents.
