Summer Fun!

We have had a wonderful summer! We recently returned from the Brinkman vacation in Florida. We stayed with Brian's family in New Smyrna Beach and really enjoyed the beach and the pool. It was really nice having family around everyday. The kids loved waking up to Nana and papaw as well as their aunts, uncles, and cousins. Brian and I were even able to go out on a date and relax on the beach. One day we went to the Magic Kingdom (Disney World) and had a blast! My kids were 17 months and had a great time! I have to admit I teared up a time or two seeing them so happy. They were able to enjoy many of the rides with us and loved the parades. Brian was suckered into buying 2 Mickey balloons, a stuffed Mickey and Minnie, and Mickey and Minnie hats. I think the kids did alright;) This was their first airplane rides too! We are so thankful that Brian's brother Jordan came along. They did great on the flight to Florida but on the way back to IN it was a different story. Addie throw an ENORMOUS fit! I believe the biggest fit I have personally seen! And I've seen many fits from teaching Kindergarten! She was so happy to get off the plane......as was the entire plane of passengers! ha ha

Last week we went to the Putnam county fair and the Monroe county fair (my nephew Garrett had projects and a rabbit). They loved seeing the animals and enjoyed all the people! I would say the cow was a favorite:)

We are getting closer to our closing date for our new home. Brian and I are getting anxious and excited discussing our list of things to do to the house. I can't wait for the twins to run around the house and yard when we move. September is the month we move:)

Addie~She is a real "girly" girl. Most of the time you see her she has on sun glasses, a purse, bracelets, and even my shoes. She is adorable! She is speaking 3 word sentences on a regular basis now. She has "please" down but she hasn't quite got "thank you" yet. They love for Brian to chase them, which he does just about everyday when he gets home from work. She says "I chase you." She continues to potty on the potty every once in a while. She is really big on telling her name. She points to herself and says "Addie." OR if it's her turn she will say her name. funny!

Aiden~Aiden is a real "boy!" He has to have a ball to play with at all times. He is either kicking it, throwing it, or putting it in baskets. He is really rough but sweet at the same time. So many people tell us his Smile makes their heart melt. :) He loved playing in the sand on vacation but preferred sitting on a towel or mat while playing. He is funny about getting dirty:) He loves water and enjoys dunking daddy in the pool and doesn't mind going under the water himself. He even went under in the ocean (from a wave) and didn't mind the salt water. I expected major screaming but he didn't. Aiden is also talking well. He does a lot of 2 words. He is big on animals and their sounds.

School starts up in 2 weeks so we are sad that Mamaw Cash won't be around everyday...(maybe I am the most sad). Hopefully we can take a family trip to the zoo this fall as well as the orchards.
